Zach Babo, who covered both games for Inside Lacrosse, give his perspective of seeing the two best championship games of the weekend, games that may have been overshadowed by the DI men’s title, but certainly provided more intrigue.

After whittling down the roster to a 52-man travel squad, Team USA came out to compete in split squad games at the Playing for Parkinson’s tournament in Alexandria, Va. 

The team broke into two 26-man rosters, a Blue Team and White Team. The Blue Team rolled Loyola in a game that had great tempo, 17-6. Prior to that contest, the White Team dominated Towson 26-4.

Fielding a boys’ lacrosse team in the JCC Maccabi Games/ArtsFest for the first time, Baltimore completed an undefeated run through the Under-16 seven-on-seven tournament, defeating host Orange County, Calif. in the final, 12-8.
